On November 25, the main pier No. 8 of the Jialing River Bridge on the Chengdu-Dazhou-Wanzhou High Speed Railway (connecting Chengdu, Dazhou and Wanzhou) successfully topped out. The bridge spans the Shunqing District and Gaoping District in Nanchong City, Sichuan Province. With this achievement, the construction of the bridge's main piers and towers has been completed, laying the foundation for the upper structure of the bridge. This bridge is a key control project for the Chengdu-Dazhou-Wanzhou High Speed Railway. It holds the world record for the largest span among low-tower cable-stayed bridges on a 350 km/h dual-track high speed railway.
