Leveraging the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor's radiating and driving effects, characteristic products with special advantages like Yunnan's fresh flowers, Sichuan's mandarin oranges and Gansu's wines are now entering international markets. Data shows that in the first 10 months of this year, provinces, regions and cities along the corridor exported agricultural products worth 26.88 billion yuan, a YoY increase of 12.3%.
"With the logistics network of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor becoming increasingly dense, covering more ports and diversifying its cargo categories," said Chen Zongwang. This year, they will continue efforts to connect with the CRE train and the Yangtze River Golden Waterway. This includes further optimizing customs supervision for the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor's rail-sea multimodal transport, extending domestic freight subsidy policies from rail-sea multimodal transport to the China-Laos Railway and China-Vietnam Railway, and more. These initiatives will enable more enterprises to benefit from favorable policies, injecting vitality into trade and industrial development along the corridor.
