The China-Laos Railway City Alliance Established in Kunming: Workers' Daily

      The China-Laos Railway City Alliance was established on November 19 in Kunming, Yunnan Province. The alliance aims to strengthen cooperation and communication among cities along the route in areas such as infrastructure, trade logistics, industrial development, digital economy and cultural tourism, and to build a connected and interdependent urban community with a shared future.

  The founding cities of the alliance are Kunming City in China and Vientiane City in Laos. The first batch of alliance members includes Yuxi City, Pu'er City, Xishuangbanna Prefecture, Chengdu City, Chongqing City and Urumqi City in China, as well as Louang Namtha Province and Luang Prabang City in Laos. Ten representatives signed a memorandum of understanding.

  The China-Laos Railway runs from Kunming in China to Vientiane in Laos, covering a total length of 1,035 kilometers.
