Laos Section of China-Laos Railway Sets Single-Day Passenger Record

The China-Laos Railway will mark its third anniversary on December 3, 2024. According to Laos-China Railway Company Limited, the Laos section of the railway experienced a surge in passenger traffic, setting a new single-day record of 14,912 passengers on November 17.
Since its opening, the Laos section of the China-Laos Railway has transported a total of 7.214 million passengers and over 10.5084 million tons of cross-border cargo, providing a significant boost to the economic development of Laos and the broader region.
